Job summary

Concord is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our Heart of the House team at our Wilmington area property. You will operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, and ensure high cleanliness standards.

The role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, reliable work pace, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Past laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, with strong teamwork and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washers, dryers, and laundry equipment, including proper chemical use.
• Sort, inspect, and treat linens based on fabric type and condition; rewash or remove damaged items as needed.
• Load/unload machines, set appropriate cycles, and ensure all items meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Fold, stack, and organize linens according to brand standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and routinely clean equipment (lint traps, filters, etc.).
• Track linen usage and support inventory processes.
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and respond promptly to team and guest needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and report maintenance or linen concerns.
• Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.
