DoubleTree by Hilton Augusta is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to help maintain the highest cleanliness and guest comfort standards. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens while supporting the housekeeping team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Requirements include strong English communication, accuracy in reporting, adherence to hotel policies, and the ability to lift at least 20 pounds. The role offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and enter correct codes into machines.
• Wash clothes according to hotel standards.
• Sort dried articles by type and check for stains or damage.
• Fold and place items in storage racks.
• Use bio-hazard bags for contaminated articles when found.
• Soak articles according to bleach procedures.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and dryers every two hours.
• Make rounds to pull dirty linen from housekeeping carts as needed.
• Assist with monthly linen inventory.

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized? DoubleTree by Hilton Augusta is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to help ensure our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels while supporting our housekeeping team. • Soak articles according to procedure in bleach.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.
• Make rounds to pull dirty linen from the housekeeping carts as needed.
• Assist with monthly linen inventory.

Requirements

• Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

• Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
• High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Other duties may be assigned.
