Job summary

DoubleTree Hotel Augusta is seeking a Linen/Housekeeping Attendant to manage washer duties and linen handling. You will wash, sort, fold, and store hotel linens while following established procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities include checking filters, pulling dirty linen, and assisting in monthly inventory. Must communicate in English and adhere to hotel policies, with a focus on accuracy and professional interaction with guests and staff.

Wash clothes according to StepStone and hotel standards.

Sort dried articles based on item type and check for stains and damage.

Fold and place items in appropriate storage racks.

Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when they are found.

Soak articles according to procedure in bleach.

Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.

Make rounds to pull dirty linen from the housekeeping carts as needed.

Assist with monthly linen inventory.

Requirements

• Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
