Job summary

Nutrition Management Services Company is recruiting a Laundry Attendant in West Caldwell, NJ 07006 for a full-time day shift. This role handles resident clothing and facility linens with care, accuracy and respect to support resident comfort and community operations.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, labeling and tracking items, following infection prevention procedures, keeping the laundry area clean, and assisting housekeeping as needed while interacting warmly with residents

Qualifications

• Laundry/housekeeping experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and lift laundry during shift.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to resident dignity.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens.
• Label and track personal items to ensure correct return to residents.
• Follow procedures for soiled laundry, infection prevention and chemical safety.
• Keep laundry room, carts and equipment clean and organized.
• Report damaged equipment, missing items and supply needs promptly.
• Work courteously with residents, families, and other team members.
• Rotate to housekeeping roles as needed.
