HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant for the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. You will operate washers and dryers, sort and fold linens, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and item presentation for guests.

The role requires physical activity, reliability, and a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and team members. On-the-job training is provided to support proper handling of all laundry items and equipment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided to ensure proper handling of equipment and linens.
• Experience in laundry or housekeeping is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures.
• Load articles into washers with the correct amount of detergent or cleaning agent and start washing cycles.
• Transfer washed items to dryers or wringers and ensure proper drying times.
• Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to type or identification number.
• Iron table linens and other designated items to maintain high presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of laundry equipment, lubricating and servicing machines as needed.
• Take initiative to greet guests warmly and professionally when encountered.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining efficient and high-quality laundry operations, ensuring all linens and guest items are clean, organized, and readily available. This role directly impacts guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall appearance and hygiene of the property.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures.
