Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is looking for a Linen Attendant to handle washing, drying, and storage of hotel and banquet linens at del Lago Resort & Casino. This role requires physical effort, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and coordination with hotel staff to maintain clean, orderly laundry operations.

The position supports hotel operations with reliable laundry delivery, careful handling of items, and adherence to safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced casino hospitality

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily washing and drying of hotel and banquet linens.
• Ironing and steaming of items may be required.
• Responsible for neatly fold laundry and distribute it according to company requirements.
• Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the machines, including cleaning machine filters.
• Maintain safe working area by sweeping and mopping floors periodically.
• Coordinate duties with other hotel staff.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for washing, drying and storage of hotel and banquet linens.

Pay Range: $24.39-$27.10/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Attendants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of laundry and push heavy carts without assistance. Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and crouch. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

• Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
• Obtain required licenses
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
• Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
• Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
• Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
