Job summary

The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a diligent Laundry Attendant to ensure clean linens and smooth operations for guests.

You will sort laundry, treat stains, operate washers and dryers, and keep carts and work areas sanitary, with a focus on timeliness and quality. Weekend work is required. Prior laundry experience is a plus, and you will join a team dedicated to hospitality and service.

Responsibilities

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for following established laundry procedures to include: sorting of linen, stain removal and “reject” procedure, washing, drying and folding laundry.

• A keen eye for detail.
• Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
• Prior professional cleaning and/or laundry experience preferred.
• Weekends are required

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires constant standing and forward reaching, frequent side reaching, handing and grasping are required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Pulling and pulling an average weight of 25lbs is required. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Oasis Hotel.

Working Environment:

• Primarily indoor working conditions in a fast paced environment.
