Job summary

Highpoint Hotel is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel linens to meet high standards, with a PM shift from 3pm to 9pm.

You will support other housekeepers and help maintain a clean, organized laundry area while contributing to a positive guest experience. Applicants should be able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 40 lb, and pay attention to detail.

Role Summary: Responsible for the overall cleanliness of hotel linens that are sorted, washed, dried and folded to meet hotel standards. Multitasks and can handle multiple assignments at once. Assists in restocking linen closets and provides teamwork and lateral service to other housekeepers as directed. Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Key Outcomes:

• Sorts all linens to be prepared for washing per hotel standards and identifies any linens that need to be set aside for reclaim or special washing
• Safely loads washers per machine and chemical standards to ensure maximum efficiency
• Loads dryers to maximum specifications and adheres to dryer pre-programmed specifications
• Folds all linens per hotel specifications
• Assists other housekeepers as directed by Executive Housekeeper to ensure all standards are met
