Job description

Pacifica Hotels is looking for a dynamic Laundry Attendant to join our team at the beautiful La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, and folding hotel linen.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

1. Adhere to Pacifica’s Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of our team members and guests.
2. Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines.
3. Sort linens for washing.
4. Check for stains and treat appropriately.
5. Wash, dry, and fold linen.
6. Run linen and deliver as requested.
7. Store linen in appropriate location.
8. Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
9. Report any missing/found articles or damage to the housekeeping supervisor.
10. Assist with room attendant duties as needed.
11. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
12. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
13. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
14. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Pay Range: $17.25-$18.00/hour
