Job Description

Rate of Pay: $20.22/hour USD

The Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing specific processing tasks related to various types of linens.

1. This position is dependent on both teamwork and a solid foundation based on the mechanical hour capacity.
2. The individual will also be responsible for linen flow as it relates to the sorting areas, folding areas, and pressing areas.
3. A basic knowledge of resort activities is required to ensure timeliness of customer needs, which would be outlined each morning in line-up.
4. Maintain an excellent relationship with all departments, particularly Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Pool, Spa, and Engineering.
5. Maintain excellent communication within the Laundry department as well as with all other departments.
6. Have full knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures.
7. Maintain a safe working environment.
8. Participate in meetings.
