Benchmark Senior Living in Redding, CT is seeking a Laundry Attendant for Meadow Ridge, a premier life care retirement community. The role involves operating commercial laundry equipment and handling hospital laundry for the Health Center, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans and redistributes the Health Center laundry.
• Washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of resident clothing and linens.
• Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures that all laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Also keeps laundry department clean.
• Reports any laundry equipment problems to department supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.

In this unique and enriching environment, we offer Independent and Assisted Living apartment homes, as well as a skilled Health Center where we provide our residents with quality care and services.
We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for safely operating commercial laundry equipment while carrying out the normal activities and functions of the laundry department, including processing hospital laundry.

Hourly Wage Range $17- $18.25 based upon experience
