Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport is seeking a dependable part-time Laundry Attendant to support our Housekeeping team by providing freshly laundered linens and guest room amenities. The role emphasizes independence, reliability, and accurate handling of laundry operations in a hotel setting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, and available to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.
• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and organize hotel linens and terry products.
• Maintain adequate inventory of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect linens for quality and remove damaged items from circulation.
• Follow all laundry procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and efficient.
• Assist Housekeeping with linen distribution and storage as needed.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.
