SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a warm, genuine, and memorable welcome to every guest, embodying Southern hospitality with a touch of Dolly-inspired charm, humility, and personality.
• Focus on daily laundry operations ensuring all linens, uniforms, and guest items meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain strict quality control on washed, dried, and pressed items.
• Manage inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe laundry facilities
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with the hotel’s values of care, pride, and hospitality
• Deliver a consistent, high-quality presentation of rooms including linens, amenities, and cleanliness
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and uniforms according to hotel standards
• Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and pressing machines
• Follow proper procedures for handling different fabric types, colors, and soil levels
• Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear; rewash or report issues as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times
• Monitor and replenish laundry supplies such as detergents, chemicals, and softeners
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
• Assist with inventory control by tracking linen usage and reporting shortages or losses
• Ensure timely delivery of clean items to housekeeping and other departments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover during high occupancy
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Represent the hotel’s culture of kindness, pride, and attention to detail in every room serviced
• Maintain high standards at all times while on property. Including, full uniform, welcoming demeanor, no personal devices at any time, food/beverage, and any other items as directed by senior leadership.
• Collaborate with all hotel team members to ensure above and beyond service in all areas.
