Laundry Attendant

This role is for the NEW TownePlace Suites Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. The anticipated start date for the role is May 26, 2025. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and storing all bed linens, towels, pillows, and other items from guest rooms. They also assist with inventory control and supply ordering when requested. Maintaining cleanliness in the laundry area, including restrooms, and performing basic preventative maintenance on washers and dryers are part of the role. The goal is to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and employee restrooms
• Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and guest room supplies
• Assist with stripping linens from guest rooms when needed
• Support other departments as required
• Deliver supplies to staff or guests when necessary
• Follow hotel security procedures
• Obtain supervisor or manager approval before clocking out

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

Required:

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report as scheduled
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Preferred:

• High School Diploma
• Experience as a Room Attendant or Maid
• Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards and products
