Job Description
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for supplying fresh, clean linen for guest rooms. Specific duties include:

1. Operating washers and dryers over 175 pounds.
2. Loading and unloading washers and dryers.
3. Properly loading chemicals in correct proportions.
4. Sorting dirty laundry.
5. Folding, stacking linens.
6. Cleaning and maintaining laundry facilities.
7. Counting linen inventory monthly.
8. Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and co-workers.
9. Performing miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to operate washers and dryers.
• Maintain a consistent pace.
• Ability to tolerate warm temperatures.
• Good communication skills with team members.
• Physical requirements include lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending.
