Job summary

BBL Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure hotel linens are cleaned and stored efficiently. The role entails operating washers and dryers, managing chemical usage, and maintaining an orderly laundry area.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read equipment directions, and physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand directions on equipment and supplies.
• Standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and bending are required; may lift 50–100 lbs with help if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers and dryers according to capacity and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure chemicals are added prior to wash cycles.
• Fold and store clean linens.
• Assist in daily linen counts for inventories.
• Inform supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Record damaged or stained linens.
• Comply with energy conservation and safety regulations.
• Notify supervisor of incidents impacting operations or guest services.
• Clean dryers promptly after cooling.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.

Job Description

Laundry Attendant ensures hotel qualities are met and hotel linens are cleaned and stored in a timely, organized manner according to policies and procedures.

Job requirements include high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and understand directions on equipment and supplies. Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and bending. Occasionally may need to lift 50-100 lbs. (with help) if needed.
