RESPONSIBILITIES: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for all aspects of processing student laundry. This includes sorting, ironing, folding, and stacking laundry in the proper bins in order to return all garments to the correct student. The Laundry Attendant is cross trained to assist with stocking racks and shelves in the Uniform Shop, processing dry cleaning, and assisting with inventory processes. They will also be cross trained as a wash line operator who takes sorted clothing, loads of washers, inputs correct chemical settings, loads and configures dryers, and shacks and processes dried laundry. The Laundry Attendant will also serve as a backup truck driver and assist with laundry pickups and deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or HSE and be computer proficient. Candidates must demonstrate the desire to help others, work effectively within every level of the organization, and multitask between job responsibilities. In addition, candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule as various registration weekends and some holidays are required.
