Job summary

Residence Inn Cleveland Independence is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping by washing, drying, folding hotel linens, and ensuring an ample supply for daily operations. Your attention to detail helps guests enjoy a comfortable stay and a well-kept environment.

You will greet guests, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with maintenance and other departments. The role requires physical activity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, weekend and holiday availability, and reliable

Qualifications

• Must have basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to stand, move, bend, lift up to 25 pounds for entire shift.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry and fold hotel linen and towels to maintain supply for daily operations.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile during shift.
• Receive and store deliveries while keeping storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning, stripping or inspecting guest rooms as needed.
• Support maintenance by reporting broken or missing items.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to achieve housekeeping goals.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry and fold all hotel linen and towels, maintaining an adequate supply of necessary items to perform daily work.
• Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Receive and put away deliveries while maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
• Assist with cleaning, stripping or inspecting guest rooms as needed.
• Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous customer service, cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
