Starting wage: $20/hour

The purpose of a Laundry Attendant is to ensure laundry is clean and ready for room attendants to stock guest rooms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare linen by removing foreign objects before washing.
2. Wash and dry laundry using the correct formulas for each load.
3. Fold items according to brand standards or management instructions.
4. Ensure finished laundry has no wrinkles, tears, or stains; remove unacceptable items to a designated area to ensure only quality products are used in guest rooms.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area; check and clean lint traps daily on all equipment.
6. Ensure towels, sheets, and linens are cleaned, ironed if necessary, and stored properly, maintaining housekeeping and customer service standards.
7. Work at an acceptable pace to ensure efficiency and maintain inventory for guest needs.
8. Perform duties according to brand standards, aiming to meet or exceed guest expectations.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education/Experience:

• High school education is not required.
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to grasp, bend, stoop, and push or pull heavy loads up to 30 lbs.
