Duties and Expectations
- Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile. Use the guests’ names whenever possible. Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores. Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency. Have strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities. Support all groups and events. Understand relevant technology. Answer calls courteously.
- Cleanliness: Keep workspaces clean and organized. Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed. Greet guests happily while cleaning.
- Product Quality: Complete checklists accurately. Submit shift handover reports timely. Wear a clean uniform, be well-groomed, and wear a nametag with a smile.
- Teamwork: Communicate clearly and professionally. Have a can-do attitude. Collaborate to create a welcoming environment.
SECTION TWO: Role Specific Duties
- Perform linen processing: collecting, transporting, sorting, loading, folding, and delivering linens.
- Wash and dry linens, towels, rags. Remove and sort dirty linens. Fold and stock linens.
- Operate laundry equipment. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas. Replenish chemicals.
SECTION THREE: Success Metrics
Based on guest satisfaction, cleanliness inspections, checklist accuracy, and teamwork performance.
SECTION FOUR: Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow guidelines and work under pressure.
- Effective listening and communication skills. Desire to serve guests.
- Must be 18 or older. Willing to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Punctuality required. Able to work standing, walking, and lifting.
