Job summary

White Lodging in Austin, TX is hiring a Laundry Attendant to deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining hotel laundry operations. You will ensure clean linens, handle washing and drying cycles, and keep carts and storage areas organized in a fast-paced environment.

Requires initiative, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Benefits start Day 1, with opportunities for growth across our portfolio of hotels.

• Certification sign-off after completing training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality laundry service to guests and anticipate needs.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment per procedures.
• Load/unload washers and dryers carefully.
• Fold linens per procedures using folding machine and ironer if needed.
• Stock and clean laundry areas and carts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

• The laundry attendant will always provide the highest quality of service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain and operate all laundry equipment in accordance with established procedures, like the laundry room checklist
• Properly load and unload washers and dryers being careful not to overload either machine.
• Fold linen in accordance with established procedures and use a folding machine and feed ironer if needed
• Stock, clean and maintain laundry carts, storage areas and laundry racks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to take initiative and self-motivated
• A certification sign off after completing training
• Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally.
