Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is looking for a dedicated Laundry Attendant to ensure a constant supply of clean and pristine linens for our guests. This position plays a vital role in maintaining guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include washing, drying, and folding hotel linens, stocking housekeeping carts, and participating in monthly inventory checks. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with a strong ability to handle workplace challenges and provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and fold hotel linens.
• Inspect and treat laundry for stains and tears.
• Complete monthly linen inventory.
• Stock shelves and housekeeping carts with clean linens.
• Notify supervisors of any damages or deficiencies.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be filling a vital role in guest satisfaction by providing a constant supply of spotless hotel linens for our guests.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements

• Washing, drying, and folding linen
• Inspect dirty laundry to identify stains/tears and treat before washing
• Complete linen inventory every month
• Stock shelves and housekeeping carts with clean, folded laundry
• Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances
• Ongoing involvement in preventative maintenance programs

Job Qualifications

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
