Job summary

The Tremont Rehabilitation in Wareham is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our team in Wareham, MA. The role runs 32 hours per week on a 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule, with an hourly wage of $16 and weekly pay.

Experience in housekeeping or laundry within a skilled nursing or medical facility is preferred, with a High School Diploma or GED required. We offer benefits and opportunities consistent with an important support role in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner to ensure clean clothing and linen are available to meet residents' needs.
• Follow sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.
• Follow washing instructions on each item to ensure care and cleanliness.
• Label unmarked clothes.
• Restock linens and return residents’ clothing to rooms.

• All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.
• Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.
• Label unmarked clothes.
• Restock linens and return residents’ articles of clothing to their rooms.
