Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support day-to-day operations. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, at a rate of $16 per hour with weekly pay.

Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping within a skilled nursing or medical facility is preferred. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe laundry area, following sanitation and safety protocols, labeling unmarked clothing, restocking linens, and returning

• Follow washing instructions on articles to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.
• Label unmarked clothes; restock linens and return residents' clothing to rooms.

Experience & Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience working in housekeeping/laundry in a skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility preferred.

Duties:

• Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner to ensure clean clothing and linen are always available to meet the needs of the residents and facility.
• All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.
• Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.
• Label unmarked clothes.
• Restock linens and return residents’ articles of clothing to their rooms.
