Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support our facility’s laundry operations. The role offers part-time hours (15 per week) with shifts in the early mornings and weekend/holiday rotations, paid at $16.00–$18.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean laundry, collecting soiled linens, and maintaining a safe, organized laundry area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in healthcare or senior living settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.
