Job summary

Sprenger Health Care Systems in Lorain, OH is seeking a dependable Laundry/Linen Aide to maintain a steady workflow, keeping garments and linens clean and ready for residents. You will support daily operations in a busy healthcare facility with a focus on infection prevention.

You will handle sorting, washing, distribution, and folding of linens, assist with housekeeping duties, and help create a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
• Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Hang, fold and stack garments and linens.
• Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room in an orderly fashion.
• Assist with housekeeping duties.
