Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a dedicated laundry assistant to maintain a steady flow of clean garments and linens for our senior living communities. Your role includes proper handling, storage, washing, and transporting textiles to prevent infection, and you will hang, fold, and distribute clothes to residents' rooms.

You will also assist with housekeeping duties, keep the laundry area orderly, and support a team with a focus on quality and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
• Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Hang, fold and stack garments and linens.
• Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
