Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Lorain, OH is seeking a dedicated Laundry/Linen Aide to maintain a steady flow of clean garments and linens across our resident care communities. The role emphasizes infection prevention through proper handling, washing, and transport of textiles in a healthcare setting.

You will sort, hang, fold, and distribute items to residents’ rooms, assist with housekeeping duties, and help support a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
• Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Hang, fold and stack garments and linens.
• Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room in an orderly fashion.
• Assist with housekeeping duties.
