Job summary

Bella Terra Schaumburg seeks a friendly Laundry Aide to join our skilled nursing team. You’ll sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident linen and clothing, maintaining cleanliness and infection-control standards; weekend rotation (every other weekend) with 7am–3pm shifts.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents’ linen and clothing.
• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen is available and deliver to residents.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bella Terra Schaumburg by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
