Job summary

Sage Creek Post-Acute is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean linens and clothing for residents. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry while labeling items and maintaining supply inventory. The role requires following sanitation rules and reporting equipment issues to the Administrator.

GED or HS diploma is required, with about a year of experience preferred. You will work with industrial washers and dryers in a low-to-moderate noise environment, and be expected to lift up

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Basic math and ability to read directions for procedures.
• 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens for residents.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms daily.
• Label new resident items as needed and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator and follow sanitary procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently; assist with related duties as needed.

Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents. Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains. Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed. Label new resident's clothing items as needed Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties Maintain inventory of laundry supplies Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner. Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator Supervisory Requirements This position has no supervisory responsibilities Qualification Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma 1 year of experience preferred Language Skills Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures Mathematical Skills Basic math skills Reasoning Ability Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
