Montello Manor and Montello Commons is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to join our care team. This full-time role requires every other weekend; there is also a part-time option of 24 hours per week with every other weekend required.

You will sort, wash, dry linens and clothes using commercial equipment, maintain a clean laundry area, and ensure residents have access to clean textiles. Training is available for those with no prior experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of laundry experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right person with no prior experience.

Responsabilités

• Sort linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items; wash using commercial equipment following sanitization protocols.
• Unload from dryers and keep the laundry room area and equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Stock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting & Washing: Sort linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items by color, size, and material, and wash them using commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.

• Drying & Maintenance: Unload laundry from commercial dryers and keep the laundry room area and equipment clean and well-maintained.

• Supply Management: Stock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of laundry experience preferred—but we are happy to train the right person with no prior experience necessary!
