Complete Care at Holiday in New Jersey is seeking a Laundry Aide to support residents and staff by handling soiled and clean linens, operating industrial washers and dryers, and maintaining a neat laundry area.

No experience required, but preferred; training will be provided. The role emphasizes reliable work ethic, ability to follow instructions, and compassionate service in a hospital-like setting for residents and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Transport laundry containers and carts for soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load soiled linen; load clean linens into dryers.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean linen and clothing.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing as needed.
• Keep laundry areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified to residents and staff.
• Prioritize customer service and create a caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts

• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers

• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers

• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts

• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory

• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing

• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner

• Follows all company policies and procedures

• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs

• Delivers laundry as specified

• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc

• Ability to work independently

• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel

• Laundry experience is a plus
