Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, MI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to support daily operations in the laundry room. You will sort, wash, and deliver linen, operate machines, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while providing friendly service to residents and staff.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with additional $0.85 per hour hazard pay, plus yearly wage increases. Flexible scheduling includes 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.

• Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.

Join our 5-Star team at Wexford Senior Care Center!

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn:

• $15.00 per hour starting wages
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard Pay!
