Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, MI is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to sort, wash, fold, and deliver linen while keeping work areas clean and safe. You will operate laundry equipment and assist residents and staff with friendly, professional service.

The position offers rotating weekends, 8-hour shifts, and no late nights. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with additional Hero/Hazard pay and yearly wage increases, plus comprehensive benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Excellent customer service skills with residents and staff.
• Team-oriented, reliable and flexible to cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen and load/unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers per procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and timely.
• Deliver clean linen to units and maintain a clean, sanitized work area.

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You Will Earn

• $15.00 per hour starting wages
