Job summary

Coral Rehabilitation and Nursing of McGregor in McGregor, TX is hiring Laundry Aides for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles. You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident clothing and linens, following sanitation and garment care protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow laundry procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or institutional laundry setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident clothing and linens.
• Follow proper laundry procedures for stain treatment, sanitation, and garment care.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the laundry room at all times.
• Work with nursing and housekeeping to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Practice infection control, proper PPE use, and equipment safety procedures.
• Respect residents’ privacy and personal belongings.
• Complete daily documentation and report equipment or safety concerns as needed.
