Prosper Health & Rehab is seeking a thorough Laundry Aide to join our team in Florida. The role involves receiving, washing, drying, and folding laundry under the Director of Housekeeping, ensuring items are prepared and distributed to departments.

Responsibilities include sorting, weighing items, loading machines, operating dryers, and maintaining clean equipment. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and physically capable, with a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and weigh laundry items.
• Load laundry items into washing machines and ensure proper settings are used.
• Transfer laundry to dryers and operate dryers.
• Fold and distribute clean laundry.
• Keep laundry equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure that laundry is sorted by department and stored in designated areas.
• Follow safety protocols and standards while handling and transporting laundry.
