Responsibilities

• Sort, fold, shake and press items per procedures in the clean processing area.
• Assist in sorting soiled linen under direction of wash staff.
• Finish clean linen by mangling per established procedures.
• Detect and report equipment or material issues to supervisor.
• Communicate with residents/patients with empathy and tact.
• Attend meetings and inservice programs.
• Follow universal precautions and chemical safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
