Avon Health and Rehabilitation in Avon, IN is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to support our residents and staff. You will handle daily laundry tasks, follow safety protocols and help maintain a clean, comfortable living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move items in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend for long periods during shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of laundry services for residents, staff and facility.
• Follow established policies/procedures for laundry tasks.
• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens and transporting them to the laundry department.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for each area and follow department schedules.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Report incidents, accidents or complaints per facility policy.
