Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Laundry Aide in Springfield, IL to perform daily laundry duties and ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary facility environment for residents.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry according to procedures and infection control standards, while keeping work areas clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications include being at least 18 years old and possessing a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or its equivalent.
• Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.
