Job summary

Silverado North Shore is hiring a Laundry Aide to maintain clean, comfortable, and dignified environments for residents. You will handle laundry, ensure proper garment care, and contribute to department goals with safety and sanitation in mind.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and compassion for individuals with memory-related conditions, including dementia. Anticipated pay range is $14–$17 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens.
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
