West Hills Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing community. The role involves performing daily laundry tasks, ensuring clean and sanitary linen supply, and coordinating with other departments to meet resident needs.

Must follow safety procedures and adhere to facility policies. This position supports a team-focused environment within a 113-bed facility, contributing to Platinum Service® by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and caregiver

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laundry functions and tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Sort, wash, and fold laundry and linen; manage supplies.
• Coordinate daily laundry services with other services in resident living areas.
• Follow safety precautions when handling chemicals and cleaning materials; maintain sanitation.
