Job summary

Lakewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Sheatown, PA is seeking a Full Time 1st Shift Laundry Aide to support patient and resident care by ensuring clean, well-folded linens are ready for use across the facility.

You will operate laundry equipment, sort and deliver items, maintain supplies, and interact positively with coworkers and guests. The role offers daily pay, benefits, PTO, overtime opportunities, and a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate work.
• Ability to stand, lift and fold.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Folds, sorts and delivers all linens according to procedures.
• Operates controls for wash machines, dryers, stamp machine, sewing machine and iron with 95% accuracy.
• Transports linens properly to various procedures.
• Cleans all laundry equipment properly.
• Interacts positively with coworkers and guests.

The laundry team supports the mission of Lakewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center by ensuring all laundered items used in the care of patients and residents across the system are clean, folded and ready for use.

The laundry aide folds, sorts and delivers laundry across the system to ensure patients receive high quality care.
