SCOPE OF POSITION: Earn up to a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus! Our Laundry Aides perform laundry services for the residents at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Environmental Services Team at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is committed to providing residents, clients, visitors, and employees with a safe and clean environment. The Laundry Aide is a vital part of our team who retrieves and sorts residents’ personal laundry or facility’s linens for washing. By utilizing the proper procedures, equipment, and soaps/chemicals, they load, operate, and unload washers and dryers, as well as operate the ironer for sheets, pillowcases, and table linens. Due to the nature of this position, our Laundry Aides need to occasionally move 100 pounds with the use of assistive devices and frequently move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work alternating weekends and holidays.
