Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services invites you to join Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Laundry Aide. This part-time role offers evenings from 4 PM to 10 PM on Friday through Sunday, with daily pay and competitive pay of $16–$17 per hour.

As part of a facility that values dignity and comfort, you will handle resident linens, follow infection control practices, and collaborate with a friendly team to maintain a clean, organized environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience as Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
• Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.
• Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly.
• Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly.
• Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff.
