Job summary

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the facility by handling laundry in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include collecting soiled laundry, operating commercial machines, distributing clean laundry, delivering linens, and maintaining laundry areas. We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K with employer contribution, generous PTO, a Monday–Friday schedule with

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.

• Collect soiled laundry from residents' rooms and transport to laundering facility.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry in commercial machines.
• Distribute clean laundry to residents.
• Deliver soiled linens to laundry, sort, wash, and return clean linens to linen closets and rooms.
• Clean laundry and equipment areas.
