The Waters of Smyrna in Smyrna, TN is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to maintain clean resident spaces and support daily housekeeping operations under the supervision of the Director of Housekeeping.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of housekeeping/laundry experience, ability to follow written and oral instructions, and strong English communication skills.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Capable of setting work priorities and working independently.
• Must meet health assessment requirements including tuberculosis test.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Capable of performing essential functions with or without accommodations.

Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, this position is delegated the following essential functions:

• Cleaning resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas and assisting in maintaining a clean and attractive environment for the residents
• Carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Is capable of setting work priorities and working independently in the absence of supervision
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
