Complete Care at Severna Park (2) is seeking a Laundry Aide to join its team. You will help provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while handling laundry tasks with care.

Experience is not required, but preferred, and you will work in a supportive, residents-focused environment. Responsibilities include operating laundry machines, sorting and folding linen, maintaining inventory, and delivering clean items with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions regarding cleaning chemicals and operation of laundry equipment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Possess flexibility and integrity when interacting with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport soiled and clean linen in carts.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load linen into washers and dryers.
• Fold and distribute clean linen and maintain carts.
• Keep accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing.
• Maintain laundry areas and equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and inform supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified; provide courteous service.
• Deliver customer service with care and respect for residents and families.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
