Job summary

Chariton Park Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate Laundry Aide to care for residents with empathy and patience. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to facility standards and assist residents with related requests while keeping a clean, organized laundry area.

The role requires safe operation of washers, dryers, and label machines, with strong attention to detail and time management. You will work independently and as part of a team, supporting residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrics and care instructions.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads.
