Yona Solutions in Saint Anthony, MN, is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. You will provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while performing laundry tasks and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

No prior experience required, but preferred. Responsibilities include operating washing machines, sorting and loading linens, and keeping accurate inventory records. This is a great entry-level role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning agents and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents and staff.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers and carts of linen.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Sort and load soiled and clean linens.
• Fold and distribute clean linen and clothing.
• Maintain inventory records of linen stock.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company policies and report needs to supervisor.
• Deliver laundry as specified to residents or departments.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
