The Landings of Chestnut Grove is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to join our team and support resident laundry services. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing, maintain records, and keep the laundry area clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' clothing.
• Sort and inventory laundry; maintain records of requests.
• Keep laundry rooms clean, stocked, and safe.
• Manage linens supply and report shortages.
• Collaborate with team to meet residents' needs promptly.
• Return residents' items in a timely and respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Laundry Services: Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing, ensuring all items are cleaned according to facility standards.
• Sorting & Inventory: Sort and organize laundry based on type and owner. Maintain accurate records of resident laundry requests and items.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure laundry rooms are kept clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling laundry equipment.
• Supply Management: Assist with maintaining an adequate supply of linens and clothing for residents. Report any shortages to management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that laundry operations are carried out efficiently and that residents’ needs are met in a timely manner.
• Resident Engagement: Handle resident laundry with care, ensuring their items are returned in a timely and respectful manner.
